The vision of National Academic Depository (NAD) is born out of an initiative to provide an online store house of all academic awards. National Academic Depository (NAD) is a 24X7 online store house of all academic awards i.e. degrees, mark-sheets etc. duly digitized and lodged by academic institutions / boards / eligibility assessment bodies. NAD not only ensures easy access to and retrieval of an academic award but also validates and guarantees its authenticity and safe storage.

Message to Student’s for Registration in Digilocker

Dear Students,

As you may be aware, keeping in view the government’s initiative of ‘Digital India’ the National Academic Depository (NAD), has been launched which is a joint initiative of Ministry of Education (MoE), Govt. of India & University Grants Commission (UGC).

MoE has launched this initiative to facilitate centralized storage, digital issuance, access and online verification of Academic Awards issued by Institutes in India. UGC is the nodal administrative body for overseeing and ensuring the implementation of NAD and Digilocker is now the sole repository for National Academic Depository (NAD)

We are proud to announce participation of NIT Raipur in this Academic Digital revolution. We have already in process to upload all the Records of Final Degree Certificate of all the pass out students of NIT Raipur in the NAD Digilocker system.

In order to benefit from this initiative, it is important that all students know about and register on the Digilocker system. Therefore, to facilitate students to understand and join NAD, the process of registration on NAD is very simple please Visit https://nad.digitallocker.gov.in/
